Iluma Experience
We managed to find some time to explore the new shopping mall at Bugis the other day, it’s called Iluma. The design of the building is suppose to be a play of lights. In any case, I really liked the layout, it’s spacious and not too complex! The shops are catered to the 20 - 30 yrs old age range so it was just perfect for us.We went to try out a 360 degrees 3D movie experience which was quite cool (not Pixar quality animation though) and tried to play some of the arcade games to grab a soft toy. After 4 tries, we got a little turtle for our efforts! But what we really wanted to try was the marble slab ice-cream! They take scoops of your choice of ice-cream, place them on a -18 degrees marble slab, add in your chosen toppings and mix it all up! I did a mocha ice-cream with Reese Chocolate. Gave a really interesting taste! I wonder what would have happened if someone mixed Kit-Kats, Nutella, Crunch, M&Ms, Oreos altogether with chocolate ice-cream.
It was a shame we didn’t have time to check out the new cinema there though, maybe another day!
