Audio Recording Loot
Ah, my plans to do some home music recording have been fulfilled! What you see in the pictures are pretty much everything you need to do some nice basic guitar/vocals recordings on your computer!The most important component is the Presonus “Audiobox” Audio Interface. All the music instruments and mics are connected to the computer through it.
The second most important is the Shure SM58, it’s a well-known dynamic mic for vocals. Condenser mics may be better for recordings but they are way more expensive and a tad to sensitive for my liking.
The ATH M30 headphones are great performers at budget price, I’m sort of using them as monitors. Other stuff I got are some cables and a mic stand. The whole set-up cost less than $500. The salesman at Luther Music Store was really friendly and helpful and managed to get me some discounts on the items!
